Silent Land Time Machine // Montréal // July 2013

HOLODECK‘s own Silent Land Time Machine (SLTM), co-founder of the label and also part of Lumens, AMASA•GANA, and Collective Shadow, trekked up to Montréal to open for Marie Davidson’s EP release show at Casa del Popolo on July 10 (HOLODECK released the EP in an edition of 200 cassettes on June 18, our first international release and release show!). SLTM stayed for 8 days and was lucky enough to play an in-studio at CKUT (the results of which are below), as well as see some of the world’s most entertaining street art and graffiti, drink a lot of local brews and St. Ambroise (and learned that there’s a difference between the two), be perpetually terrified of Canadian anti-smoking ads, AND hear some of the most mind-bendingly amazing music every single night of the trip from some of the most genuinely warm, remarkably talented, and incredibly humble folks in the world (all curiously localized in MTL)…these are the traces of the passing memories that remain…

Good Stuff House – Untitled LP – out JULY 23 (ft. Scott Tuma / mem. of Zelienople)

Good Stuff House - Untitled

Yep, HOLODECK is dropping an INSANE album on Tuesday, July 23 – this time, we have a reissue of Good Stuff House‘s debut LP. Basically Scott Tuma, Mike Weis (Kwaidan, Zelienople), and Matt Christensen (Zelienople) crafted a masterpiece of a record back in 2006 that was so ineffable they couldn’t even name any of the tracks or the album – it was originally released in a CD-R edition of 150 on TIME-LAG Records and we are *honored* to be getting this immaculate record back into the collective consciousness.

Have a listen below – pre-orders are open at the STORE – this one will not last! Out on LP / CS / DL, edition of 300, CS in an edition of 200 // LP c/o of our evil sister label Indian Queen Records.
