S U R V I V E is back on the road continuing their epic run summer festivals. This weekend they're in Chicago for the city's largest outdoor event of the year, Pitchfork Festival. This massive three day event features huge headliners like LCD Soundsystem, A Tribe Called Quest, and Solange (click HERE for full schedule and tickets), but for S U R V I V E this weekend is all about the beer.
S U R V I V E has partnered with Goose Island to make GI5-5538, a delicious crimson ale that is the official beer of Pitchfork Festival 2017. This seasonal brew is light and refreshing with hints of grapefruit, and it's only available for a limited time in the Chicago area. Drink up!
Last year Troller released their critically acclaimed sophomore album Graphic and followed with several handsome music videos ("Sundowner" "Not Here" and "Storm Maker" among others). Continuing their ambitious quest to make a video for every song on the record, Troller once again teamed up with director Melissa Cha to head their largest video project yet.
"Nothing" is Troller's latest attempt at cinematic art. This dark and ritualistic narrative unfolds a morbid cycle of life and death that takes place in its own hyper-stylized world. "Nothing" is Cha's third video collaboration with Troller and plays more like an intense short film.

It's been too long since Troller toured the west coast! The band did several trips out west in support of their debut self titled album, but they have yet to make the journey from Austin since the release of their sophomore LP Graphic (2016)...until now!
"Austin creepgaze trio Troller push the darkwave lexicon into doom metal, noise and ultra-romantic Lana Del Rage"

Holodeck's newest roster addition is Austin based experimental synth artist Curved Light aka Peter Tran. Peter's beautiful compositions are made on all analog hardware and range from gorgeously orchestrated to harsh and abstract. Mr. Tran's newest cassette Channelview is out today.
Channelview is the latest in a prolific stream of releases from Curved Light. Peter is able to breathe life into circuits by forming his music out of fundamentally basic sound waves. Using this method, Tran has the ability to fully customize every song element and let his underlying concepts vividly unfold with poetic grace. The unique shape and color of each tone on songs like “Resincast“ and “Goldleaf” dictate the course of rhythm and melody. In this way, Curved Light regards sound design as the essential component of writing music.
Click HERE to listen to Curved Light's new cassette Channelview in it's entirety via CLRVYNT, who premiered the full-stream earlier this week.

Dylan Cameron has been grinding away in Austin's dance party scene for years, becoming one of the dominant artists within the local subculture. Constant struggles with venues and warehouse spaces have at times made it difficult to throw a proper show. Nevertheless, there is a thriving scene of electronic artists that continue to play wherever and whenever possible. Holodeck Records and Dylan Cameron have made a video for the title track off his 2016 debut LP Infinite Floor that depicts what the party kids in Austin are up to these days.
Dylan Cameron has been hard at work in 2017 both in the studio and on the stage. Fresh off of his electrifying performance at SXSW, Dylan is taking his live set on the road to the East Coast for the first time with Ascetic House artist Soren.
